Bronze medal won by ABI mushroom project in MTE 2010

 ABI’s mushroom group participated in MTE 2010 which was held at PWTC from 4th - 6th February 2010. This important event was organized in conjunction with Malaysia’s Innovation Year 2010 and aptly themed ‘Driving Innovation towards Commercialization’.  
This event seeks to identify scientists and researchers that have achieved excellence in R&D by highlighting their new findings, inventions or innovations to the public.

In MTE 2010, the mushroom group presented their posters entitled ‘The Development of Micropropagation and Cultivation Technique to Commercially Produce the Fruiting Body of Lignosus rhinocerus’.
ABI mushroom group is pioneering the work on the production of Tiger’s Milk Mushroom fruiting body by focusing on media formulation and suitable substrate that can induce rapid growth of Tiger’s Milk Mushroom at low cost.

ABI mushroom group successfully won bronze medal in agriculture category. ABI management and staff would like to congratulate the mushroom group for their achievement and hope this will inspire them and the rest of ABI citizens to contribute more in the future.
