The National Biotechnology Seminar 2010

The National Biotechnology Seminar 2010 serves as a platform to discuss our continuing implementation of the Biotechnology Policy and pave the way forward for the biotechnology industry.

This seminar will provide an avenue to disseminate research outputs from completed projects under the Ninth Malaysian Plan as well as to identify potential projects for further development.
The theme of the seminar ‘Cultivating an Innovative Economy’ is the driving force for the Malaysian biotechnology sector in the next decade. Participants will gain fresh perspectives and insights as to how biotechnology and life sciences will play a crucial role in innovative economy, along with the creation of unique opportunities and challenges of innovative discoveries for commercialization in the global market.
